Daniel Mendez
Assistant Principal
Mr. Mendez has been with Libertas since its founding in 2015 and currently serves as the 4th-6th grade Assistant Principal. He started his teaching career in 2013 as a 5th grade math teacher as a Teach for America Corps Member in San Diego, CA before moving back to Los Angeles where he is originally from. At Libertas Mr. Mendez has served as a 5th and 6th grade math teacher, an Instructional Coach, chair of the Nonfiction (History/Science) and Specials (Art/P.E.) department. Mr. Mendez holds a Multiple Subject teaching credential from San Diego State University, a M.A. in Pastoral Theology from Loyola Marymount University, and a B.A. in Economics with a minor in Theological Studies from Loyola Marymount University.
