Ms. Valdez
School Counselor

Ms. Valdez received her Bachelor’s degree in child development from California State University, Dominguez Hills. She later obtained her Master’s degree in social work from Simmons University in Boston. She has been working in the field of social work, providing psychotherapy for 3 years. She has worked in different settings including community based mental health agencies, group practices and schools. Ms. Valdez strongly believes that if children can have the right support and resources in place, they can achieve their highest potential. At Libertas Ms. Valdez provides individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, counseling services and case management. In her free time she enjoys traveling, spending time with loved ones and crafting.
