Bob Williams
Board Member

GRobert Williams joined Libertas’s Board of Directors in 2024. After graduating from U.C.S.B. in 1973 and Harvard Law School in 1976, Bob worked at the law firm of Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP for more than 40 years. His practice specialty was real estate development and finance, with a particular emphasis upon financing of affordable rental housing. He was elected a Fellow in the American College of Real Estate Lawyers. He also worked in a number of administrative capacities at Sheppard Mullin,including service on the firm’s Executive Committee and as its Chief Talent Officer. 

WHY LIBERTAS?

I learned about Libertas when I served as a volunteer on Libertas’s physical facilities task force. I was impressed by Libertas’s educational mission, by the devotion to that mission demonstrated by its faculty and staff, and by the outstanding achievements of its students. I hope that, as a member of the Board, I can help Libertas continue to propel its students toward success in academics and in life.
